From the editor's desk ...

Well, here we all are then! Another year has flown by and is slowly drawing to a close. We hope 2017 has been kind to you and has seen you thrive and prosper.

We released the last edition for 2017 of our newsletter, Dollars and Sense, where we provided suggestions for getting you tax-ready before Christmas, a quick run-down on the deductibility of business expenses relating to the holiday season (think client gifts and office parties), as well as an overview of upcoming tax payment dates. Ean Brown and the team wish you and your family a very happy festive season. We look forward to seeing you all again in 2018, fresh-faced and bushy-tailed after enjoying a relaxing break with your loved ones.

	Meet the team
Sheila Ujdur
Sheila has many years of administration experience under her belt, the last 6 of those in service to our firm. She can also boast letters after her name, having completed a bachelor of business studies! She handles Ean Brown Partners's day-to-day practice management, and enjoys getting stuck into a challenging task. As a wife, mother of 3 and grandmother to 8 she is understandably busy with family life outside of office hours. She keeps fit by participating in many of the Sport Northland Run/Walk Series with her oldest granddaughter, and when she's not doing that she finds pleasure in patchwork quilting, and managing the resource library at her patchwork club.
